Privacy Policy

Placeholder terms for review. Not yet legally reviewed.

This document is scaffolding. The wording below is structurally representative only and must be replaced with counsel-reviewed copy before launch.

This policy explains what personal data UGCollab collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. Read it alongside our Terms of Service.

We collect account details you provide (name, email, role, country), campaign and application content, messages, submission metadata, and payment records needed to settle work. We also collect basic product-usage and error diagnostics.

We use your data to run the network: to match briefs and creators, move work through review, hold and release escrow, keep an audit trail, and support you. We do not sell your personal data.

We rely on a small set of processors, chosen with data residency in mind:

  • Supabase, our database, authentication, and storage, hosted in the Asia Pacific (Tokyo) region.
  • Resend, our transactional email provider, hosted in the EU.
  • Sentry, for error monitoring.
  • PostHog, for product analytics, hosted in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com).
  • Stripe, for payments and escrow settlement.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to run the service and to meet legal, tax, and audit obligations. Immutable audit and settlement records are retained for the periods required by law. The specific windows will be finalised with counsel before launch.

Where GDPR applies, you have the right to access, correct, export, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Privacy questions and data-rights requests go to hello@ugcollab.ai.
